When you work inside a partner's program, that partner has a guide — the document that lays out their tiers, the requirements to reach each one, and the benefits each tier carries. Partner Partner can read that guide for you and turn it into a first draft of those tiers on the partner's program, so the partner has something concrete to review and publish rather than a blank page.
This is different from uploading your own agreement. Your agreement is your deal terms with a partner — your rate, cadence, and renewal. A program guide is the partner's full tier structure. This article covers the guide.
Note: Guide upload is still rolling out and may not yet be present in your workspace. If you don't see the Upload a program guide card on your Agreements page, it isn't available to you yet — this article describes how it works and when to use it.
1. Program guide vs. your own agreement
These two uploads sit near each other but do different jobs.
Your agreement is the deal between you and a partner: your commission rate, how often you're paid, when it renews. You upload it so Partner Partner can hold that partner to the terms you agreed. See Uploading a Partner Agreement, linked below.
A program guide is the partner's tier framework: the ladder of tiers, what each one requires, and what each one gives back. You upload it so Partner Partner can draft those tiers on the partner's program.
A short way to hold the difference: an agreement is your terms with one partner; a guide is that partner's whole tier structure.
2. Where the upload lives
When it's available in your workspace, the Upload a program guide card sits on the Agreements page in your agency workspace, alongside where you upload your own agreements.

3. Uploading a guide
Once the card is present on your Agreements page, uploading a guide takes three steps.
Open the Agreements page and find the Upload a program guide card.
Drag the guide PDF onto the drop zone, or use the picker to choose a file.
Select Ingest guide.
The card itself tells you what to expect next:
We'll read the guide and, if it matches one of your partners' programs, draft tiers on that partner's program for them to review and publish — not on your own account. Many guides need a confirmation step first, so an upload may not draft anything right away.
4. What happens after you upload
Two points from that message are worth holding onto.
The drafted tiers land on the partner, not on you. If the guide matches one of your partners' programs, Partner Partner drafts the tiers on that partner's program, for the partner to review and publish. It does not add tiers to your own account. Publishing stays with the partner who owns the program — see Publishing Your Program & Partner Tiers, linked below.
An upload may not draft anything right away. Many guides need a confirmation step before any tiers are drafted, so a successful upload is not a promise that draft tiers appear immediately.
A guide upload is a head start for the partner, not a change to your standing. Nothing it produces affects your own tier health directly; it gives the partner a drafted structure to accept or adjust.

When in doubt, the guide is the longer document that describes multiple tiers and their requirements; the agreement is the shorter one that describes your deal.
